CV – mini guide

Each of us has written or may have had to write a Curriculum Vitae (CV), some people look for police officer resume. Is there any option for a well-written CV? However, we want to come out in front of a potential future employer as in the full sense of the word, but we cannot overdo it, for example with the length of the Curriculum Vitae, because no person has the time or the desire to read multi-page papers. So we write short, concise and to the point. Specific. The CV should have no more than two A4 pages. You have to write about everything – briefly, the CV should contain specific information that will be of interest to your employer. We can write a list only in the CV, develop individual experience or interests – however, this should be avoided in the CV!

Remember that Curriculum Vitae is, in a way, our visiting card. Therefore, this document (if not by e-mail) should be delivered in a protective foil or in a briefcase, so that it does not have folded corners or is not wrinkled. This document testifies to ourselves, to my care and neatness. So let’s make the document as professional and clean as possible.

The CV must always contain personal data, as well as the data related to your current professional title (if we are during studies or courses, we can also write about it), internship is also very important information – most often it according to this information, the employer selects new employees for his company. It should also be mentioned to what extent we speak foreign languages. Thus, personal data, education, knowledge of languages and previous practical professional knowledge – this information is the “basic” information for each employer.

Personal data is 100 percent our first and last name, address, date of birth and also (very important, and in many cases omitted) mobile phone number – depending on the position we are applying for, we can also provide an email address – to easy communication with a potential employer.

Information about our professional title should be provided in reverse chronological order, so starting with what the zone had last. It is now here that you should enter the start and end date of education, you should write the full name of the university or school, faculty and field of study. It is also worth mentioning the specialization here, about the leading subjects that we had at school or university, it happens that (depending on the position we apply for in a given company) you can also mention the subject of the master’s or bachelor’s thesis.

Foreign language – here briefly, we must state what level of knowledge of each written language we are – both in speech and in writing. If some language courses that we have attended abroad have already taken place in our lives, if we have already received any certificates from language schools, or also some Olympiads and competitions that will confirm our skills-we should also mention them here.
